Scrubs and masks
A complete skincare routine should include periodic exfoliation to ensure proper removal of dead skin cells and the application of a mask that provides deep treatment to the skin. On one hand, exfoliants are products that have the ability to free the skin from cells that have completed their life cycle and, since they do not naturally shed, hinder the basic functions of our skin as well as the absorption of active ingredients applied afterward. On the other hand, masks are products that can deliver active ingredients for intensive treatment while also offering a moment of relaxation at home. Applied after exfoliation, their active ingredients can penetrate more effectively, hydrating and soothing the skin.
The frequency of use for these products depends on skin type, but generally once a week is sufficient. Start by exfoliating clean skin, massaging the product and focusing on areas where dead skin cells tend to accumulate (nose, chin, and forehead). Finally, rinse the product off with plenty of water and apply the mask using a brush. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and finish with your usual moisturizer.
