Vegetable squalane has a very great affinity with the skin, because it is one of the main components of human sebum and the hydrolipidic layer. It protects the skin against the loss of humidity, makes it soft and smooth, and therefore, improves the structure of the film of lipids of the skin. Due to its excellent properties of penetration, squalane is also used as a carrier of active substances. - Shea butter: its composition is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and insaponifiables. The main actives of karite provide an excellent moisturising action, giving elasticity and tonicity to the skin. Its cellular regenerating power prevents ageing of the skin and the appearance of wrinkles and stretch marks. Its immediate effect leaves the skin soft and bright. It helps protect it from solar radiations and the cold. Hydroxyprolisilane: it is a powerful anti-ageing active that stimulates cellular renewal. It acts through cytostimulation, in which by stimulating the fibroblasts they are capable producing more protein, collagen in particular.
